It often caused death by not enough warming up or acclimatization of the person before swimming. From previous activity, temperature of the person is warm and some time the swimming pool in cold condition.

Before jumping into the swimming pool, the first step you must take are stretching your body. You can do simple activity such as pull up your heel to your bottom direction or you can raise up your knee till it touch your stomach. It makes your feet get elastic and ready to move under the water. For your body, just turn your waist to the right or left direction around 30 degrees and swing your arm to the right and left direction on the same time. You can also strecth your arms and hands by pull up and down or turn right or left. This practice could make your body more elastic when you are moving in the water.

After that, you can go to the water shower to acclimatize your body with the water temperature and the condition in the water. With this acclimatization, your body will not get shock while you are swimming in the water. Without acclimatization, your body could have cramp. It was dangerous while you are swimming on the depth area specially if there is no swimming pool guard or nobody could help you in this condition. It often cause death while you are drown in the swimming pool
